Worst book I have ever read.

We read this book for book club from various Tiktok reccommendations but it was so bad, every person in our group hated it. So on the brightside, we had a lot to talk about. The plot was advertised as a spin on the Hades/Persephone story with a bit of fun smut. But the characters were sorely lacking and only truly paralleled the Greek mythology by the use of their names sprinkled in. It was more of a mafia story than mythology retelling. The plot line was so bland and even disappointing towards the end. The number of times this man carried the main character was tiresome. She tried to play a strong damsel but ultimately came across as a weak and annoying girl with no true depth. It was an easy read and the spicy scenes were very BDSM-like but it seemed so flat. I'm not sure why I read the epilogue, but it was laughable and completely pointless. If you are looking for a great story, look elsewhere.

Love!

Holy SPICE!!

Not for the faint of heart but it’s a quick read. I read the eBook version of this and then had to buy the paperback copy for my bookshelf. It’s easily one of my top 2021 reads.

Read it in a day

I couldn’t put it down. Literally. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

I love it

I liked every bit of the book from the very first words on page one to the very last page. It’s a never ending erotic love story
