Two thumbs down

The book was just ok written. Doesn’t make sense. (Spoiler) How did Josh know that Mira would be on the flight, there would be a snowstorm, and 3 other college students landing in Newark, would all need to get to Pittsburgh? Then they all meet up, 2 of the others happened to be renting a car, and he talks Harper into begging Mira, who she just met to come with them? Who was the man in the yellow hat? How did he wander miles and miles without a car? How did the father/son find them? No one was questioned or charged in the deaths of 2 people? Ugh, her worst novel so far.

Good idea but not greatly executed.

I liked this book but felt it was building to something that never came. The ending happened within a few pages and that was it. It could have gone deeper or bolder. Still a decent read.
