excellent insight into the introvert and how much of our society has not appreciated the introvert.

The value of introversion

It was very well researched and does a good job of explaining how and why our society focuses on and rewards extroverts. I saw my childhood, myself as a parent, and my workplace in her descriptions. On the downside, sometimes I found myself skimming content because the research became a little redundant. Also, I would have liked to see the last chapter fleshed out with more ideas on how to integrate the strengths of both groups in work, school, and parenting. There were some good ideas but they were just sort of thrown in as a list at the end. Overall, it was a middle of the road good read.

Great book for introverts and extroverts alike!

Very well researched and insightful book. First book I have read on this subject, and thoroughly enjoyed getting an insight as an introvert into my extroverted friends. Would be good for business managers to read to develop strengths of their employees.
